[Watch] Solve for Tomorrow Season 2: Team Jalraaj’s Transformative Journey Towards Becoming India’s Top 10 Young Innovators

Solve For Tomorrow is a platform that educates and facilitates our next-gen innovators toward solving the most pressing issues the world faces today. One of the top 10 teams in the competition, team Jalraaj, seeks to address a problem that affects life itself – the growing lack of drinking water.

Aman Verma from Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, is developing a sustainable water filtration plant capable of converting saline seawater into drinking water using renewable energy. Here’s a take on his journey as the competition moves to its final phase and selects India’s next top young innovators.

Exploring New Frontiers: IIT Delhi Bootcamp

The IIT Delhi bootcamp was a transformative experience both personally and as an innovator. Talking about his learnings at the camp, Aman says, “I was able to develop my communication skills, learned how to interact with others. And most importantly, I learned how to present my idea.”

Adopting New Learnings

The comprehensive workshops on ‘Design Thinking’ and ‘Entrepreneurship’ gave Aman the tools and the perspective to refine his idea further. Reflecting on how he adopted these, Aman says, “I did more research on my project. I looked at the changes in water filtration technologies worldwide, learned about them, and applied them to my project.”

Gearing Up to Win Solve For Tomorrow Season 2

Currently, Aman and other top 10 teams are working on their prototypes and pitch for the grand finale. We asked him about his strategy to impress the grand jury and win the competition, “Everyone else has picked a problem to solve, but my project is linked with life itself. This gives me the confidence that I will be ahead of others in the competition.”
