[Watch] Solve For Tomorrow Season 2: Team Hackvengers Talks About Their Vision, Bootcamp Learnings, and Strategy to Win

 

Imagine a world where auditory gaps no longer affect the lives and well-being of the deaf and hard of hearing. Fueled by the passion for achieving this vision, team Hackvengers from Solve For Tomorrow season 2 soared through countless challenges and fierce competition to claim their spot among the top 10 teams.

 

Patel Aditi Mukeshkumar, Varun Thummar, and Amit Gohel from Ahmedabad, Gujrat, make the team Hackvengers. Their journey at Solve For Tomorrow season 2 has been one of learning and growth.

 

First big pit stop: IIT Delhi Bootcamp

After making it to the top 30 teams, the trio was given the unique opportunity to receive comprehensive training and mentorship by FITT & MeitY Startup Hub partners at a bootcamp hosted by IIT Delhi. The team shared their bootcamp experience saying, “We learned a lot about time management, handling working under pressure, and converting our idea into a real-world solution.”

 

Implementing Bootcamp Learnings to Develop Prototype

The training and mentorship at the IIT Delhi bootcamp gave the team all they needed to take their project to the next level. We asked them about the feedback they received and the implementation of their learnings, “Our idea was software-based where there was a dependency on mobile phones and similar devices. So, we moved on to a hardware-based solution. However, we still ran into issues. That is when our mentor helped us to guide our efforts in the right direction.”

 

Team Hackvengers’s Strategy for Winning Solve For Tomorrow 

Currently, the team is busy preparing for the final pitch event, they hope they can make a difference with their creation. Revealing their strategy to win, the team added, “Our strategy to win the competition is to give our 100 percent to the project so that it can help the hearing disabled. Our main concern is to help the hearing disabled so that they can access equal opportunities in society and express themselves freely.” 

 

With their journey to the top 10 teams being televised on national television, the trio is brimming with excitement and ready to leave their mark on the main stage.
