Davis, California Nov 1, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – Wind Harvest International, Inc. (WH), a company that designs, sells, and develops projects unique, mid-size wind turbines that capture and convert the unused and highly energetic mid-level wind layers into electrical power, has officially launched the second round of investment opportunities as they continue toward their goals of international certification and commercial sales in 2022.

The mid-level wind is the wind from 15 to 100 feet above ground level. Wind Harvest is the first company to make significant progress in creating commercial and industrial-sized turbines designed for turbulent middle layers of wind with its Wind Harvester turbines. Its model 3.1 is currently undergoing Technology Readiness Level 7 (of 9) testing at the UL Advanced Wind Turbine Testing Facility in Texas.

“We believe our Wind Harvester turbines and projects will revolutionize the wind energy industry on several fronts. The technology will bring a currently untapped and immense energy resource to the fight to stop climate change,” said Kevin Wolf, Wind Harvest CEO, and President. “The overwhelming success of our first crowdfunding effort is a strong indication of the support and enthusiasm for this type of technological innovation. Plus, our proprietary technology and scalable projects can synergistically drive significant economic, social, and environmental benefits through local fabrication and assembly and by being wildlife-friendly.”

The design and engineering of the Wind Harvester turbines evolved directly from the combination of modern computer modeling paired with field-tested results from prototypes installed in several countries throughout the world during the past 30 years. The Wind Harvester works in tandem with the existing tall propeller-type turbines. Unlike traditional turbines, these 50-75kW turbines have three straight vertical blades that spin in an H-shape around a centralized vertical drive shaft; they are engineered to last 40 to 50 years utilizing materials that last for many decades and are fully recyclable.

At one-fifth to one-tenth the height of traditional commercial-scale turbines, Wind Harvester turbines fit under and around tall turbines and in places where the larger turbines cannot be placed. In combination with existing tall propeller-type wind turbines already located in the windiest 20 percent of wind farms throughout the world, Wind Harvester turbines can significantly increase the reliability and output of renewable energy projects.

The shorter, compact design of Wind Harvesters and their placement three feet apart from one another enables dense installations on commercial and utility-scale properties that need power but are unable to use tall turbines. A one-time investment by large energy consumers like property owners, businesses, utilities, and governments can provide long-term returns with minimal maintenance and operational costs.

Initial funding for this project came from its wholly-owned subsidiary Wind Harvest Pilot Project Inc., which successfully raised $1.5 million. The company is currently soliciting interest (aka testing the waters) for a new Regulation Crowdfunding offering, but we are not accepting investments in that offering yet. (See our testing the waters disclosure at the end of this release.)  Anyone over the age of 18 will be able to invest in that offering when it launches. Information about that offering is available on the Wefunder crowdfunding platform.  Wefunder.com/windharvest states how much we plan to raise, the proposed terms of investment, and other important information.

Additionally, they are now accepting investments in a new offering under Rule 506(c). Only accredited investors may invest in this offering. Investors will need to be verified as accredited before they can participate. Visit https://windharvest.com/investment-opportunities/ to inquire about investing in this offering under Rule 506(c).

Wind Harvest currently has a growing project pipeline for its first-to-market mid-level wind technology. The Wind Harvester is expected to be internationally certified in 2022 and realize $100+ million in sales by the end of 2024. These milestones will help achieve a high valuation for a Series B round.

“We are thrilled to offer additional opportunities for people to invest in technology and company that creates win-win solutions for everyone. Our Wind Harvesters will help renewable energy projects increase energy output by optimizing their efficiency and making them more productive. Commercial energy consumers and ratepayers that use Wind Harvesters will reap the rewards of turning excellent unused wind into lower energy prices and increased reliability. We are most excited by what we can do together to accelerate the much-needed clean energy revolution,” Wolf added.

TESTING THE WATERS DISCLOSURE: We are ‘testing the waters’ to gauge investor interest in an offering under Regulation Crowdfunding. No money or other consideration is being solicited. If sent, it will not be accepted. No offer to buy securities will be accepted. No part of the purchase price will be received until Form C is filed and only through Wefunder’s platform. Any indication of interest involves no obligation or commitment of any kind.
