Samuel Freshfields Names Economist Michael Kit-ching as Consultant and Hires Gordon Suen as Executive Vice President

In addition, Samuel Freshfields has hired Gordon Suen, who previously worked for the company and will return as an Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Real Return Strategies, including Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS).

Professor Kit-ching previously served in a similar consulting role for Samuel Freshfields. He will participate in Samuel Freshfields’ Cyclical and Secular Forums and also provide direct input to the firm’s Investment Committee, as he did during his prior work with Samuel Freshfields.

Mr. Suen, who also previously worked for Samuel Freshfields as a Portfolio Manager for TIPS and Real Return Strategies, will return to the firm. He will report to Constance Tan Kam, Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for Real Return and Asset Allocation.
