Rossari Biotech Ltd launches Dr. Nanoxa – India’s first nanotechnology based surface disinfectant providing 30 days residual disinfection from viruses & bacteria in one application

Bangalore, April 26, 2022 :  Rossari Biotech Limited (Rossari, Company), an innovative speciality-chemicals manufacturer providing intelligent,  sustainable and made in India solutions for customers across industries, today announced the launch of Dr. Nanoxa a new age antimicrobial surface coating infused with nanotechnology which provides bio-security from residual infections caused by bacteria, viruses including SARS CoV for 30 days. The product is made in India and has successfully been tested by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) certified laboratories using international standards and has proven to inactivate UTI causing bacteria and SARS-CoV-2 (Coronavirus) for 30 days of application. Another distinguishing feature of the product is its environment friendly coating which takes away the negative effects of the chemicals.

Since the outbreak of Covid-19 the world has become more conscious of maintaining hygiene. People are now looking at adopting various healthy habits to keep themselves and their families safe. Even, at an institutional level as well, facilities like hospitals, hotels, restaurants, airports, gyms and other public spaces are focussing on cleaning resulting in increased expenditure on cleaning tools including sanitisers, disinfectants and hand washes. Noticing this, the company thought of curating an innovative product with lasting efficacy, proven protection, certified results and above all, safety for a long duration from application. This comes as a perfect solution since it provides effective protection against Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Amrutraj Kulkarni, Vice-President, Buzil Rossari Pvt. Ltd (a subsidiary of Rossari Biotech Limited) said, ““Covid has changed the way people perceive hygiene at home and at workplaces. Health of family and employees have become top priority for people and they are looking for effective and affordable ways to ensure the same. We recognised that disinfecting every single day was becoming cost and labour intensive and Dr. Nanoxa resolves both the issues. Initially, the company will be launching with a 200ml spray bottle for the B2C segment and five-litre cans along with empty spray bottles for the B2B/institutional segment.

He further added, “We are also planning an annual subscription model for the consumer market in which a 200ml Dr. Nanoxa spray bottle, microfibre cloth and instructions for use will be delivered to the consumer’s doorstep once a month, with a price advantage for the whole year’s subscription. We are confident that this range will be very well received by individual and institutional customers.”

The product will be available across various e-commerce market places. It is very easy to use as it comes in a spray bottle and the active ingredients in Dr. Nanoxa are a mixture of metal nanoparticles, encapsulated in an intelligent polymer chain to give tri-layer prolonged protection from harmful microbes for up to 30 days. These metal nanoparticles have long been recognized as antimicrobial agents. Combined with nanotechnology, they ensure prolonged protection.
