Quote from Embassy Group | World NGO Day | February 27, 2022

“World NGO Day is an international day dedicated to celebrating, recognizing, and honouring all non-governmental and non-profit organizations, and the people behind them that contribute to society all year around. It gives us an opportunity to reflect on the selfless and endless services NGOs provide and inspire us to become actively involved with their work.

At Embassy, we believe that unity is the key strength. We are grateful to be able to work alongside our NGO partners to serve the community at large. Correspondingly, we have partnered with Colors of Life which began in 2012. This NGO has been working with Government schools for over 17 years. They encourage and uplift underprivileged children by adopting government schools, aiding them to transform into institutions of excellence through equitable education. Embassy’s education interventions have benefited through the years with their support and assistance.

Together, we work on annual distribution of teaching & learning materials and offer various education programs such as Math through computers, English Learning, Life Skills and Sports. We also provide scholarships for further studies, after-school academic support, technology to support advance learning and Alumni support across 15 Government schools, 1 Children’s home and 6 Anganwadis in Bangalore.

In terms of health space, we are grateful to be working with Bangalore North Round Table #25 on health initiatives that benefit more than 22,000 children across 44 government schools across Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Noida. Our interventions include the regular provision of nutritional supplements, preventative health kits, sanitary napkins, and health awareness workbooks, along with daily school maintenance, and annual health screenings.

Our flagship environmental program, EcoGram, is crossing milestones in the environment space, strongly supported by our NGO partner, The Anonymous Indian Charitable Trust (TAICT). Through EcoGram, wet and dry waste is collected across 10 villages in the Bettahalasuru Panchayat, and properly disposed.”
