North American Risk Services, Inc. Hires Michelle Greene as Director of Workers’ Compensation
ORLANDO, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–North American Risk Services, Inc. (NARS) is pleased to announce and welcome Michelle Greene as Director of Workers’ Compensation. Michelle is a thought leader joining the first ever Workers’ Compensation Center of Excellence. She will enhance the development of this status quo challenging team. She is innovative, courageous, and understands the components of human nature in claims to deliver the best workers’ compensation philosophy across teams, adjusters, clients, and the industry. We welcome Michelle and her innate leadership to make good things happen for those with whom she encounters. Her desire to transform the industry and propel it forward into a wholistic, meaningful, purpose-driven manner is exciting as she embarks on a beautiful journey ahead.
For over two decades, Michelle Greene has worked energetically to develop, maintain, and manage a company’s worker’s compensation program. Michelle brings to the table vast experience in various management roles, including TPA experience with the Helmsman Group, claims and loss control experience with large accounts at Liberty Mutual, and a wide variety of insurance responsibilities as the business lead for Pekin Insurance. She held an active role on the Commercial Market Strategic Committee and Risk Management Working Group for Pekin Insurance Company and the development of Pekin Select Insurance Company.
During her long and successful career, Michelle has proven to be a catalyst for change by being instrumental in dealing with multi-jurisdictional work comp claims handling with small and large accounts, workflow administration, staffing, organizational restructuring, customer experience, managing change, and servant leadership. Michelle has also developed and overseen nurse triage programs, nurse advocacy, training programs related to workers’ compensation laws, policies, return to work, loss control, and benefits.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, minor in Psychology. With a keen eye, curious mind, and passion for learning, she is currently enrolled in a dual master’s program for her MBA and MOL, master’s in Business Administration and master’s in Organizational Leadership.
Her core beliefs include compassion, humility, and service. She believes that those three qualities are vital to getting injured workers back to work and back to life in the world of workers’ compensation. Believing success is driven by collaboration, companies must share in her philosophy when forming business partnerships.
Family is especially important to Michelle. She is married with three children and four gorgeous grandchildren. She is also an avid runner and tends to do most of her thinking on the road. Michelle also loves to read a lot and enjoys traveling to new and exotic places. She believes in giving back to the community and frequently volunteers for local NGOs and humanitarian organizations.
Michelle is on the Board of Directors for Kids’ Chance of Illinois and is involved with the St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Affiliate Runs.
