Julia A. Simon Joins Lynn Pinker Hurst & Schwegmann as Partner
Former Mary Kay Chief Legal Officer returns to private practice
DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nationally recognized trial litigation firm Lynn Pinker Hurst & Schwegmann has announced the addition of Julia A. Simon as a partner. Most recently Ms. Simon served as the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for Mary Kay Inc., a global manufacturer and distributor of consumer goods.

At Mary Kay she was responsible for the company’s legal, risk management, governance, compliance, public affairs, corporate communications, and corporate social responsibility functions. She also served as the company’s Chief Privacy Officer.
After earning a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, Ms. Simon completed her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law. She began her legal career as a labor & employment attorney at McGlinchey, Stafford, Nealy & Lang in New Orleans. Before joining Mary Kay, Ms. Simon was a partner at the firm formerly known as Locke Liddell & Sapp, practicing commercial litigation and labor & employment law in Dallas.
