Insurance in the USD 6.7 million investment by BlueOrchard

Link Legal advised and assisted Probus Insurance Broker Private Limited, a Mumbai based InsurTech company (“Probus”) in the USD 6.7 million investment by BlueOrchard.

Probus is engaged in the business of providing direct insurance broking services, and BlueOrchard is a Swiss based impact fund.

Link Legal led by its corporate Associate Partner Vinu Peter Immanuel, and Senior Associate Ira Swain assisted Probus from the preliminary stage and until the effective closing of the entire transaction. The scope of work also involved reviewing and finalising of the definitive agreements and other ancillary documents, assisting, and advising Probus on the relevant compliances with the extant Indian insurance laws and exchange control regulations.
