Hire Express leverages Inauro to enable real-time data workflows in Baseplan

Hire Express, the current Australian Hire Company of the year winner, and Inauro announce the successful deployment of the Perspio™ platform in the Hire Express operation.

Perspio™ provides the Hire Express team with a single pane of glass view of its fleet, already equipped with various telematics solutions, both OEM provided and added-on.

Rental and servicing information from the Hire Express ERP, Baseplan, is also provided making the management of the fleet a lot simpler for Hire Express. “Being able to access all of the relevant data of each of our assets in one system is really making a difference for us” says Allen Besseling, Hire Express Managing Director. “For a relatively agile operation, we can’t afford to waste time reconciling data between systems, or in administrative overheads – our roll-out of Perspio™ is really making this pain go away”.

Perspio™ is also writing data to Baseplan to make it more real-time. Plant engine hours and odometer readings, for example, are being updated in Baseplan from Perspio™ facilitating the field servicing aspects of the Hire Express rental operation. Tolls are another aspect of the integration, with charges being directly written into the Baseplan contracts, avoiding costly administrative headaches at the end of the month. \”The rich operational data being fed in real time by Perspio™ into the Baseplan enterprise software is further enhancing efficiencies for our rental company customers” says Joe Westhuizen, CEO at Baseplan “we’re delighted to continue to develop this integration which truly makes a difference for our customers”.
