Hexion Joins Human Rights Campaign’s Business Coalition for the Equality Act

Company to recognize LGBTQ associates and allies during Pride Month in June

COLUMBUS, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#Hexion–Hexion Inc., a leading producer of adhesives, coatings and composite resins, today announced that it has joined the Human Rights Campaign’s Business Coalition for the Equality Act.

This group of more than 400 leading U.S. employers supports federal legislation that would provide the same basic protections to LGBTQ people as are provided to other protected groups under federal law.

In addition to joining the Business Coalition for the Equality Act, Hexion is recognizing its LGBTQ associates, and their allies, in a variety of ways during LGBTQ Month. This includes sponsoring and participating in the LGBTQ+ Summit, organized by the National Diversity Council.
