Los Angeles, California Jul 27, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – Chad Kroger of @Chadgoesdeep and his partner, JT Parr, have embarked on a mission to raise enough funds to erect a statue of the late great Paul Walker, the duo’s lifelong hero from the “Fast and the Furious” film series.
Kroger proposed the statue for the San Clemente Pier four years ago but the proposal was denied by the city council. Chad & JT were concerned their campaign for the statue was losing steam, but with the new NFT craze, the pair decided to take to the streets of Huntington Beach to sell NFTs directly to the public. Unfortunately, the effort was not successful because people didn’t fully grasp the concept of NFTs. However, they remained convinced that support for the statue would come and went back to the drawing board.
Taking a more traditional approach, Kroger and Parr launched a GoFundMe Campaign, calling on their STOKE NATION to help them reach their goal to make this dream a reality. Having raised more than $8,000 toward their goal of $50,000 was a great start, but the pair decided they would turn some of their most iconic City Council moments into NFTs with unique utility, including VIP access to shows, future events like the EPIC RAGER and much more. As true savants of STOKE, Chad & JT are looking to bring a unifying figure to the masses – A beacon of headlights to guide us all down the dusty road of life… THE PAUL WALKER STATUE!
Apart from the Paul Walker tribute statue, you can also find their protest of the recent ban on house parties in LA and an appeal to change the city’s toxic water treatment plant to “The Britney Spears Toxic Water Center” available on the Mintable.app platform.
