NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–IM Engineering East, the east coast’s leading exhibition spotlighting the most disruptive designs, emerging technologies, and materials across the medtech, automation, plastics, packaging, design, and quality sectors, today announced attendee registration is open for the Winter event. The three-day event comprises six co-located shows, including Medical Design and Manufacturing (MD&M) East, EastPack, Automation Technology Expo (ATX) East, Design & Manufacturing (D&M), PLASTEC East, and Quality Expo, plus the introduction of CannPack East a robust conference and exhibition showcasing the latest innovative products within cannabis packaging solutions.
Slated for December 7-9 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, the six-in-one design and manufacturing event offers buyers and suppliers a turnkey experience from expert-led education to a comprehensive view of the product lifecycle from prototype to production. Despite unprecedented disruptions over the past two years, the advanced manufacturing community has recalibrated and produced the world’s most innovative products and services as a result— from life-saving medical devices to robotics that enables the smart factory; many of these innovations will be on display on the expo floor and available for demo.
Nestled amongst the Northeast’s manufacturing hub, the event’s highly anticipated return is strategically designed to facilitate much-needed industry connection through engaging networking offerings, showcasing the latest products and solutions on the market, and inspiring the next breakthrough innovations through world-class education.
“The manufacturing industry has reached new heights over the past few years with the maturation of medical automation technologies, robotics, 3D printing, and contract manufacturing capabilities and continues to be a bright spot in the country’s economy,” said Steve Everly, Group Event Director, Advanced Manufacturing East, Informa Markets. “Though, this high output doesn’t come without obstacles to overcome and we are thrilled to return to New York in support of this vibrant community, serving as the east coast’s gathering place for buyers and suppliers alike to network, ink deals, and learn from peers as new challenges unfold.”
“What’s notable about our event is the wide array of verticals represented— from medical, health and beauty, food and beverage, to cannabis— encouraging much needed cross-category collaboration and providing for new customer and learning opportunities,” continued Everly.
Underscoring the industry’s critical need for in-person connection, internationally recognized companies AGR, Qosina, B Braun, Steris, Aspect Automation, Cimquest, and more have already signed on to exhibit and has attracted world-class speakers, including:
- Challenges & Innovations in Robotic Interoperability: Moderated by Tom Ryden, Executive Director, MassRobotics.
- Predictive Maintenance (PdM) on a Budget for Existing Equipment: Will Heally III, Marketing Manager Americas, Balluff
- Panel: Digital Transformation of Healthcare Industry: Are we Prepared?: Dr. Payman Afshari, Sr. Principal Engineer, DePuy Synthes Spine; Dr. Alie Jahangir, Sr. Principal Engineer, Janssen Pharmaceutical; Aram Montazami, VP R&D & Cofounder of Novatek International
