Swiss and British FinTech sign cooperation valid throughout EEA & UK

Luzern, Switzerland Oct 27, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – “Changing the way people pay” – this is the motto under which wearonize AG operates as an international market leader in wearable solutions for both lifestyle product manufacturers and banking institutions. From now on, the British FinTech Curve OS Ltd also trusts in the innovative solutions: wearonize will be a preferred partner of Curve (“Your wallet in one”) for passive wearables from October 2021 onwards, thus opening up new markets.

Through this cooperation, wearonize AG (www.wearonize.com) further expands its global leadership role as a comprehensive “fullfillment-as-a-service” provider for wearable payment solutions (for both producers and banks): Through its collaboration with UK-based FinTech Curve OS Ltd (www.curve.com), wearonize now supports debit and credit cards from virtually all banks and card issuers in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK.

wearonize offers producers market with more than 300 million consumers

“We are delighted about this cooperation, as it only brings benefits for all sides. With Curve at our side, we are taking a big step towards market penetration, as Curve bundles all debit or credit cards, Mastercard, Visa cards, and others commonly used in the EU & UK into just one card. This means that producers who turn their products into payment wearables with wearonize technology can now reach every consumer in the European Economic Area and the UK with a debit or credit card – a market with more than 300 million consumers,” says Thorsten Röske, CEO and Co-Founder of wearonize AG on the cooperation agreement, which was signed at the end of October 2021.

wearonize expands market penetration throughout EEA and UK

Even before the partnership with Curve, wearonize had the world’s largest producer banking network with currently more than 66 banks in 12 countries. The cooperation significantly increases the reach of supporting banks for wearonize and now extends to the entire EEA and UK for the first time. The curve is currently available in 31 markets across the U.K. and the European Economic Area (EEA) and connects all of a consumer’s payment cards (both in a physical card and in an app) in one account.
