Vande Bharatam – Nritya Utsav reaches Zonal Level after several rounds of State Level competitions
- Third Zonal Competition to be held in South Zone at Bengaluru on 11th December 2021
- Winners of National Level will perform at Republic Day 2022 programme in New Delhi
Bengaluru ; 9 December 2021: Vande Bharatam Nritya Utsav, National Dance Competition on the occasion of 75th year of Independence, being held to select the best talent to perform at the Republic Day Parade on 26th January, 2022 in New Delhi, has reached an exciting stage. Zonal Level competitions are starting from 9th December, with the third Zonal Level event of this competition to be held on 11th December 2021 at Bengaluru.
The zonal level on-ground event will be held from December 9 to December 12 in four different cities. Starting from Kolkata on December 9, Mumbai on December 10, Bengaluru on December 11 and New Delhi on December 12. The winners of the zonal event competition will be announced on December 13. The South Zone event in Bengaluru will be held at Dr B R Ambedkar Bhavan at Kaverappa Layout, Bengaluru from 10.00am onwards.
Over 2,400 participants from 200 plus teams have been short-listed for the zonal level competition. Selected teams from this round will progress to the Grand Finale which will be held in New Delhi. Top 480 dancers declared as winners will perform on the Republic Day Parade held at Rajpath, New Delhi on 26th January 2022.
