imc Learning won six Awards at LearnX Live! 2021 Australia

Outstanding eLearning projects by imc were recognised with one platinum and five gold awards at LearnX Live! 2021 Australia. The LearnX award program acknowledges innovative and creative projects in the fields of learning and design every year.

The Platinum Award in the “Future Learning” category went to Organisational Learning Strategy that imc created together with the Green Climate Fund (GCF). It is a comprehensive onboarding and induction program that provides a sound understanding of GCF’s climate focus, shared values, governance, policies and practices.

The latest innovative cyber security learning game from imc, “Cyber Crime Time”, won a Gold award in the category “Best Game E-Learning Design”. In the game, learners become hackers who find a way to infiltrate a company’s system network. Along the way, they learn the most common cyber attacks to recognise security risks in the future. Cyber Crime Time is a fun and exciting cyber security awareness training that does not look or feel like regular training, therefore ensuring the content sticks and employees become valuable assets on the frontline of organisations Cyber Security defence.

Gold awards were awarded to imc and the Department of Education and Training (Victoria) additional in the “E-learning widespread adopter initiative” category, this project consisted of the development of comprehensive custom eLearning modules to train teachers in dealing with students who have difficulty with numeracy and mathematics.

The extensive experience in enabling and supporting new starters experience for organisations was recognised when imc and Commission for Children and Young People were recognised with Gold in the”Employee Experience Strategy” category. Through the incorporation of clever illustrations, combined with everyday language, the CCYP onboarding experience is designed to enable new starters to connect with CCYP and to make them feel empowered and motivated.

The Gold Award was also won in the Best Performance Support category for the development of training and performance support on the performance-based management system implemented at the New South Wales Department of Communities and Justice. The project, which included the development of animated video along with eLearning module and performance support materials aimed to spread awareness of the process and subsequently increased the completion of employee’s performance plans from 3% to 33%.

imc is also particularly proud to receive the Gold Award for “Best Pandemic Response: compliance training” in partnership with the Department of Health Victoria, for rapid delivery and implementation of the imc Learning Suite (learning management system) to accelerate knowledge transfer to the Victorian Government COVID-19 Task Force and thus ensuring the Department of Health team could play a critical part to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Victoria.
