The Central Bureau of Investigation has today filed a chargesheet against four accused (residents of District Hathras) in the Court of Special Judge, Hathras (Uttar Pradesh) in a case related to an incident at Hathras.
CBI had registered the case on 11.10.2020 on the request of Uttar Pradesh Government and further Notification from Government of India. Accordingly, the investigation of the said case, earlier registered vide CC No-136/2020 at Police Station Chandpa, District- Hathras (Uttar Pradesh) on a complaint was taken over by CBI.
The public is reminded that the above findings are based on the investigation done by CBI and evidence collected by it. Under the Indian Law, the accused are presumed to be innocent till their guilt is finally established after a fair trial.
