Obi Worldphone launches SF1 smartphone in India, price starts at Rs 11,999

Obi Worldphone, previously Obi Mobiles, today has launched its flagship smartphone in the Indian market, dubbed Obi Worldphone SF1. It will be available to buy on 7th December, exclusively on NDTV Gadgets360.

Price starting at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 13,999, the smartphone will be available in two variants – one with 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage and another 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage respectively. Both the variant comes with expandable memory option.

Equipped with a 5-inch Full HD JDI In-Cell IPS display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at a pixel density of 443 PPI, the display of Obi Worldphone SF1 is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The device is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) SoC clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with Adreno 405 GPU for graphics.

The SF1 sports a 13MP rear camera with Sony Exmor IMX214 sensor, AF and LED flash support. On the front, there’s a 5MP camera with LED flash support.

Out-of-the-box, the smartphone runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with the Obi Lifespeed UI on top. The handset comes with a 3,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 1.0.

Connectivity-wise, the dual-SIM Obi Worldphone SF1 comes with 4G LTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP, GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm headset jack.
