Lava launches Iris Atom 2X, priced at Rs 4,499
Indian smartphone maker Lava has launched an entry-level smartphone Iris Atom 2X. Priced at Rs 4,499, Lava Iris Atom 2X smartphone has a 4.5 inch FWVGA display and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.
The dual-sim smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM and supports microSD cards of up to 32GB.
Lava Iris Atom 2X is backed up by a 2,000mAh battery and sports 5MP primary camera with LED flash, along with a VGA secondary camera. The connectivity options in the phone include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority recently issued an allotment letter to the Lava International to set up an electronics manufacturing cluster (EMC) on 100 acres of land along the expressway.
The company already has a research & development centre in India and an in-house product testing set-up in China.
